Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for an unforgettable summer festival! As we wrap up our Summer 7's and 5's Tournament, we are filled with immense gratitude for the incredible sense of community that made this year's event a resounding success!
We want to give a big shout-out to all the participants, from the youngest players to the seasoned veterans, for your unwavering dedication that brought both unforgettable and, let's admit it, a few less memorable moments to the field! And a special congratulations to the senior tournament winners: Arji Barges, Traitors, and Wazzas Weiner.
We also want to tip our hats to the parents whose cheers echoed throughout the pitches and clubhouse—your unwavering support has been the driving force behind the tournament's success.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to our amazing volunteers and hardworking committee members whose tireless efforts ensured that everything ran smoothly, just like a perfectly executed cross by Louis Pring 😊. Your dedication is the backbone of our event, and we couldn't have done it without you!
To the young referees who oversaw the junior games, thank you for upholding the spirit of the game with fairness and integrity.
This year's tournament saw a record number of entries, and we introduced some exciting additions like food trucks, sausage sizzles, and a brand-new club shop stocked with more than just MCFC Polo shirts. The club shop now offers a diverse range of merchandise to suit everyone's taste.
And let's not forget the lively atmosphere in the bar—a fantastic social hub that provided the perfect place for teams to relax, celebrate victories, and discuss the memorable (and maybe not-so-memorable) moments that unfolded on the pitch. A special mention goes to our friends from the "Traitors" team, who have truly been the champions of the bar, making it a true centerpiece for laughter, camaraderie, and perhaps a friendly competition in liquid consumption! Here's to the good times shared both on and off the field!
Mandurah City FC sends warm wishes for the future.
Well Done to all those who took part.
Gary, Club President.
