An Old Name, but New Player Signs Up

John Baird, the head coach of the first team, recently made his second signing for the year 2024. Ste Hesketh, an experienced defender from Bayswater City, has joined the team. Ste, who is the son of former first team coach Doug, is versatile and can play at left back or centre back. His vast experience will be a valuable asset to the team.

Hesketh has played for various teams in Australia and Indonesia, including Hume City in Victoria and Bonnyrigg White Eagles in New South Wales. He expressed his excitement about playing for John and his team at Mandurah, stating that he has always respected the club. With his family's history at the club, he can't wait to put on his boots and play some great football with the lads.

Baird praised Ste's skills and expressed his surprise at him agreeing to join the team. He believes that Ste will bring the much-needed experience to the defense and also contribute additional leadership qualities to the side.
